Jacob M. O’Neill, M.D. – Retired
General Orthopaedics & Joint Replacement
As an orthopaedic surgeon, I enjoy working with people and experiencing a sense of camaraderie with my patients. My job is immensely rewarding. I get satisfaction from helping patients overcome their injury or condition and resume an active lifestyle.
My areas of interest and specialization are joint replacement, orthopaedic trauma and sports medicine. I am the chief of orthopaedic trauma services at St Mary’s Medical Center. Whatever the type of injury, I enjoy the challenge of diagnosing a complex orthopaedic problem, determining treatment options, and providing a solution. I strive to provide the highest level of care for my patients in a low-stress environment. Ultimately, my goal is to help relieve pain and return patients to full activity.
When I am not seeing patients, I enjoy skiing, high-performance racing, traveling, and studying history.
