St. Vincent and Tri-State Orthopaedics Break Ground on St. Vincent Orthopedic Hospital

  

(Evansville, IN)  St. Vincent Evansville and Tri-State Orthopaedics broke ground on St. Vincent Orthopedic Hospital today. The $95 million, 135,000-square-foot, four-story St. Vincent Orthopedic Hospital will be located at the northeast corner of Warrick Wellness Trail and Epworth Road, making it a natural extension of the St. Vincent Epworth Crossing campus, which provides a variety of outpatient services such as:

 

  • Elective orthopedic and spine surgeries (inpatient and outpatient)
  • Pre-procedure education and clinic
  • Imaging services (CT, x-ray, ultrasound, MRI)
  • Laboratory
  • Physical therapy
  • Respiratory therapy
  • Durable medical equipment
  • Pastoral care and chapel
  • Hospitalists
  • Dining services
  • Community meeting space

“We’re excited to bring forth this state-of-the-art facility to help meet this community’s growing demand for orthopedic services,” said Dan Parod, interim president for St. Vincent Evansville. “Coupled with the skill of our surgical partners at Tri-State Orthopaedics, this new hospital has the potential to become a regional destination for individuals seeking leading-edge bone and joint care.”

The St. Vincent Orthopedic Hospital will also serve as a physical representation of the unique partnership between one of the tri-state’s most distinguished hospitals and the region’s largest orthopedic practice.

St. Vincent Orthopedic Hospital, scheduled to open in 2019, will include space for 48 inpatient rooms, 10 operating suites (with room for expansion), and two procedure rooms.
